An experimental design endeavour
The Rogue is a Chicago bar stool that embodies the character of Chicago. It is cynical, idealistic, and tenacious in material and form expression and functional use. It is made of a mysterious milled carbon fiber concoction that makes it incredibly strong yet lightweight. It's lofty height expresses it's skepticism and requires you to work to get up into the seat. The material is durable and has staying power reflecting it's tenacity. Its form is elegant and refined, dreamy even, expressing it's idealistic aspirations.
The Rogue was shown at ICFF 2016 in UIC's Reading Room booth along with other experimental designs.
